two years ago
i moved across the country on a whim. partially cause i hated my life in los angeles, but mainly cause i wanted to see if a connection that i felt with a girl was real. for the life of me i cannot tell you what day we really decided to make it “official,” but we settled on April 15th. i’m fairly certain my reasoning was that i wanted tax day to have a positive meaning in my life.
two years have passed. thats like, what.. 730 days? it’s been a hell of a journey for us, with our ups and our downs, but the good will forever outweigh the bad. i fell in love and everyday when i wake up next to her i am reminded of the love that we share and that even though this city is not los angeles, there is nowhere else in the world i’d rather be.
happy anniversary, courtney. you’ve changed your name on here more times than prince, but i love you all the same.
